Suzan is the author of the children's book Timmy's Adventure: How Lucky Am I? Book 1 of the Gratitude Series.
Suzan always enjoys a good story whether it is listening to one, telling one or the writer.
She originally wrote the children's book, Timmy's Adventure: How Lucky Am I? in 2006 under the name What Stuff Matters. Although the book is fictional, people, places, and situations around her strongly influenced her writing. After she wrote the story, it was saved to a file and forgotten until 2009.
When the economy tanked, Suzan employment as a recruiter ended with a layoff. She decided to take this time in between jobs to research publishing her book. Three days later, she was hired by a new company. The book was set aside once again.
During the Covid Pandemic in the spring of 2020, Suzan's job was eliminated. As fate would have it, her book resurfaced; but this time she moved forward with the process. She has two more books for the Gratitude Series in the works.
Suzan used a lot of adjectives to help the reader feel Timmy's environment and emotions. Suzan wants the reader to empathize with the characters in the book. She enjoys cultivating a safe and fun learning opportunity for children.
Timmy's Adventure: How Lucky Am I? is book one in the Gratitude series. Love, gratitude and kindness are three things that are never ending. There is an endless supply of these but sometimes people need to be reminded where to look.
